Vajaah liked design before design was cool
Vajaah has literally been involved with one form of design since she was five, when she first acquired Kidpix (a Macintosh based graphics program). After that she worked her way up to Microsoft Publisher and on to Yahoo Geocities. It makes sense that she would be a design major, right? Wrong. She was an environmental science major when she started her schooling at American University. She had an epiphany, though, during her Organic Chemistry course, which led her to change her major to Graphic Design.
What’s the best part of working at WDG? The, “quirky set of web ninjas in a space that unleashes creative freedom”. With an answer like that, it is no wonder that Vajaah is one of our lead developers who also has the power to implement creative designs. She enjoys coding with a waterfront view, and indulging in cuisine (a common theme with WDG superstars).
Proud god mother of one AWESOME god son, Vajaah is a one-of-a-kind developer with a fun and fresh style. Raised in West Orange, New Jersey, Vajaah will rep her Jersey-girl style whenever and wherever possible. Although she has never watched The Jersey Shore, she claims that the stars of the show are not supporting true Jersey style. Instead, they are just embarrassing themselves and giving her home turf a bad rap. Right on, Vajaah!
